Latest Hillary Interview Only Weaves Web of Deceit Tighter Around Her

Is she even aware how ridiculous she sounds?

Hillary's story on her private email problem keeps shifting. First she claimed she never read or sent classified material. Later that changed to information that was knowingly classified at the time and later that changed to marked classified. As anyone who has worked at that level of government knows that's all hogwash.

In her latest attempt to get ahead of the lies she tells more. In only her third interview since announcing her candidacy (compare that to the GOP candidates who are on the air almost daily) she spoke with Andrea Mitchell of NBC News hoping for a sympathetic reporter. Well, Andrea may be sympathetic but once again Hillary did herself no favors.

Let's save time by putting aside all the usual Clintonian spin and cut right to the heart of the matter:
She explained that she had used a personal email account as a senator from New York and didn't spend much time considering alternatives when she became secretary of state in 2009. "I did all my business on my personal email [in the Senate]," Clinton said. "I was not thinking a lot when I got in [to the State Department]. There was so much work to be done. We had so many problems around the world. I didn't really stop and think what kind of email system will there be."
Yet the Washington Post reports that Hillary went out of her way to set up and maintain the separate email account by hiring an Information Technology specialist who had worked on her 2008 campaign to run the email server. The man was also given a job at the State Department.

Once again, the facts contradicts Hillary's shifting story. If Hillary really was focused on doing her job and not paying attention to which email she used it would have been far easier to simply use the State Department email system which was already set up to handle classified information.

So why do it the hard way? From emails which have come to light (remembering that Hillary deleted 30,000) Hillary was also doing quite a lot of business with the Clinton Foundation and questions have been raised about quid pro quos from donors to the foundation who also had business before the State Department. If Hillary had used the State system, ALL those records would be available for investigation.

As part of the House Democrat Watergate team that prosecuted Richard Nixon, and after eight years in the White House with Bill Hillary knows all too well what can happen if damaging information isn't destroyed (hello blue dress). Much better that voters think she may be dishonest and a crook than leave absolutely no doubt on the matter!
