A Look Ahead: The Media Storm That Awaits Trump if Nominated

The current fawning media will turn on him with a vengeance!

How many times have we heard "don't let the news media pick the GOP presidential nominee?" Remember how both McCain, the "Maverick" and Romney were supposed to appeal to independent voters and then got gobsmacked? The media which fawned over them early on turned on a dime!

You couldn't get more wholesome than Mitt Romney as a nominee yet the media went back 50 years and dug up a story where Mitt was reported to be a bully as a teen age student in High School. The same media that thought that was newsworthy did their best to avoid the skeletons in Obama's closest. Don't you think they'll do the same to Trump? Democrats like to talk about phony scandals when it comes to Democrat lawbreaking but they are the experts in fomenting phony scandals and with Trump there will be one a week.

Take a look at this and imagine what Hillary Clinton and a compliant left wing media will do with it...
Trump stiffed casino builders as he spent $1 million per week on personal expenses

By S.A. Miller - The Washington Times - Monday, March 7, 2016

Marty Rosenberg has sat across the negotiating table from Donald Trump, and he says it cost his business nearly a half-million dollars when the man who currently reigns as the Republican presidential front-runner didn’t live up to his end of the deal.

The year was 1990, and Mr. Trump’s newly constructed Taj Mahal hotel and casino was hurtling toward bankruptcy, while Mr. Rosenberg’s Atlantic Plate Glass (APG) and scores of other contractors who built the lavish megacasino in Atlantic City, New Jersey, waited for more than $60 million in overdue payments.

“We got to the end of the job, and I think he owed APG about $1.5 million,” Mr. Rosenberg recalled in a recent interview. “I was waiting for my check, and it didn’t come.”
Next they will find a black guy whose small business had to close after a similar Trump deal went wrong laying off dozens of minority workers some of whom will be paraded for the cameras.

Now, none of this is going to matter to Trump supporters but the constant drip, drip, drip of scandal-mongering will take it's toll as Trump seeks to reach beyond his base of support which he must do to win the November election if he is the nominee.

And on a personal level, I'd like to see Trump supporters carry the water on these matters. Some of his supporters have refused to pledge to support the GOP nominee if it's not Trump. And while I will vote for whoever the GOP nominee is, I'll be less inclined to be Trump's attack dog. It's turn guys. Step up or get out of the way!
